Eins nach dem Andern (Etüde) is an invitation by Samuel Feldhandler to Susanne Songi Griem, Mzamo Nondlwana, Lena Schattenberg and Elizabeth Ward, four artists from the Viennese dance scene and with different dance backgrounds, to bring a structured improvisation to life together. This improvisation is based on the simple idea of copying music in the body, or in other words to translate it into dance.
Eins nach dem Andern (Etüde) is composed with a succession of diverse pieces of music from different genres, which are translated 'one after the other' by the performers in different constellations (from solos and duets all the way to quintets).
